An alarming incident took place in one of the rooms of special CBI court in the Rouse Avenue Court Complex. A thirty-eight-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by an employee of the CBI court inside the temple of justice. The terrifying news came up when the women filed a complaint against the court employee on Monday evening. The police after receiving the complaint took the impeached in the police custody.
According to the news, the police officials have asserted that the woman lost her job some time back and was combatting for justice in the labor court to recover from the loss suffered. The women claimed that one of her husband’s companions Rajendra Singh took her to the courtroom no 308 to support her with the persisting case proceedings. When the women entered the CBI courtroom the accused rapist urged himself upon her and sexually assaulted her in the court of justice.

The reports state that the IP state police have confirmed that Rajendra Singh Rawat who is a court official has been imprisoned. He has been introduced in front of the court and has been accused of rape. The police have affirmed that under IPC section 376, a rape case has been filed and further investigation pertaining to the litigation is underway. Lately, a medical examination of the woman was done to proceed further with the investigation.
The IP state police further notified that the accused rapist Rajendra Singh Rawat was a known person of the casualty and he himself called her to assist her with the case proceedings. The woman is an inhabitant of Old Delhi and she has been knowing the accused from the last six months. The woman has contended in the complaint that the accused took her to the CBIcourtroom no 308 and allegedly raped her. A senior police officer of the IP state police station told that they received a PCR call on Monday evening, reporting the rape at the police station.
SAFOORA ZARGAR BAIL CASE IN DELHI HIGH COURT
The Secretary of Rouse Avenue Bar Association, Siddhartha Nanwal told that the evidence affirming the incident of rape is not yet apparent. He further affirmed that the court will look into the case and investigate the matter. If the assertion turns out to be authentic the court will denounce it and further proceeding will be done.
