Delhi University’s Rajdhani College will give a rebate of Rs 2010 in annual fees to all its students because of the deteriorating situation due to Covid. Also, for students whose parents have died due to the pandemic, their full fees will be waived off.

This decision has been taken in the meeting of the governing body of the college. There are nearly 2100 students in the College.

Dr. Rajesh Giri, College Principal said, We will give a rebate of Rs.2010 to all the college students in the annual fee. Apart from this, the full fees of the students who have lost their parents or anyone’s parent due to Covid will be waived off.

Moreover, this statement will apply to students taking admission in the first year as well as for all other year students.

College Principal further added for economically weaker students, the college will give financial assistance of Rs. 3 to 5 thousand to the students whose home earners have lost their jobs or halted working due to the covid and are facing financial crunch. This subsidy will be given by our Student Aid Fund.

Notification for this will be issued soon. The income certificate of their parents will be seen before making the fund available. One of our teams will conclude interacting with these students.

The governing body of the Delhi University’s Rajdhani College has also begun a certificate course of counseling and suggestion for the students. We are also launching two Generals of Commerce as well as Political Science.
