DELHI UNIVERSITY WARNS STUDENTS OF CIRCULATION OF FAKE DU NOTICE

A fake notice of Delhi University saying that the university will reopen for normal classes in physical mode from January 3 is in circulation while the University has been continuing its classes online since the start of the coronavirus-induced lockdown and by introducing a contactless admission process for enrolling students to the academic session 2020-21.

On social media, the information being circulated is that the University will reopen in physical mode from the 3rd of January 2021. Attendance will be strictly compulsory as online classes will not be continued. Hereafter, any student found lacking in attendance will not be allowed to sit for Semester Examinations, Practical, Internal Assessment, Projects, Viva-voce, Internship, Oral Apprenticeship, Field Work, etc.

DU has however informed while rejecting the claim that the DU has not made any such announcement and that it was fake news.
