For DU Teachers and other staff members, Delhi University will continue their biometric attendance. The department of Personnel and Training passed the order which will come into action from December 8.

Observing the order, Delhi University issues a notification. The notification states that all the employees of Delhi University working at all levels have to follow the biometric attendance rule. The staff members have to maintain all the rules and protocols of COVID 19. They all must maintain a social distancing of six feet.

DU EMPLOYEES RECORDING PHYSICAL ATTENDANCE AT FIRST

Other than biometric attendance machine, sanitizers must be available for the staff members. Before marking attendance, every employee must make sure their hands are properly sanitized. An office memorandum of DU states that until further notice, staff members have to maintain physical attendance only.

Biometric attendance is not in action for now. From 8th November, all the level of employees of DU has to maintain biometric attendance.

The national capital recorded a positivity rate of 0.04 percent on Monday. Moreover, there is a decline in the coronavirus cases. Last month on October 2, 12, 19, and 22 Delhi recorded four deaths with coronavirus. However, the death toll in the national capital stands at 25,091.
