SOL Internal Assessment: From this academic year 2022-23, students who have been admitted into the School of Open Learning (SOL) or Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) will have an internal assessment, just like regular colleges offer to their students.

Further, these changes are made given National Education Policy (NEP 2020) norms. Also to fulfil the Distance Education Bureau (DEB) provision. Now, these proposals will be put at the 18 August 2022 executive council meeting.

According to the agenda document, these amendments to implementing continuous open and distance learning are mandatory requirements of the University Grants Commission’s Distance Education Bureau (DEB-UGC).
