DELHI UNIVERSITY STUDENTS STRUGGLE WITH SAMARTH PORTAL GLITCH IN EXAM FORM SUBMISSIONS

Around 300 students at Delhi University are upset because of a problem with the Samarth portal. This problem is making it hard for them to finish their exam forms. A professor from DU explained on Saturday that the trouble is happening because students are putting the wrong enrollment numbers.

A person named Ajay Arora, who is in charge of examinations, said they are working to fix the problem. But, it’s not easy because they have to correct each student’s enrollment number one by one. This checking process will take one or two days.

Postgraduate Students Having a Tough Time

The students having the most trouble are those in their first semester of MA, MSc, and M Com courses. This also includes some students who can’t see well. They are struggling to choose their subjects for the exams on the portal. Even though the last date to submit forms was supposed to be November 24, the university extended it to December 5. However, the portal problem is still not solved.

Students Need Help

These students have been trying to get help since October. They went to different offices, but they didn’t get much information or help. This is making them feel upset and stressed. One professor, Maya John, said the offices in the university are not working together well, causing problems for the students.

A Letter to the Vice Chancellor

Professor John wrote a letter to the big boss of the university, Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh. In the letter, she explained the problem and asked him to change the last date to submit forms. She also said the university needs to fix the problem with the subjects on the portal.

Asking for Help in the Future

John said the university needs to look at all the complaints and the problems with the Samarth portal. This is important so that students in the future don’t have these kinds of problems. She wants the university to be careful and make things easy for students.
