The University of Delhi on Tuesday I.e. 1st December released the notification for spot admission for entrance-based UG admissions 2020. The publication of the first spot allotment for admission to Bachelor in Elementary Education, Bachelor in Management Studies, BBA, and B.A. (H) Business economics will be held on 2nd December 2020.
Furthermore, the publication of second spot allotment for admission to B.Tech Information Technology & Mathematical Innovations, B.A (Hons.) Humanities and Social Sciences, Five years integrated Program in Journalism, and B.A. (Hons.) Multi-Media and Mass Communication will also be made on 2nd December 2020. As per the reports, the University has already completed the first spot admission for the BA(H) Humanities and Social Sciences, B.Tech, five years integrated program in journalism, and B.A. (H) multimedia and mass communication.
Last date of payment against Spot admission is 5th Dec
Moreover, the online portal for applicants to apply for the dashboard will open on 3rd December 2020. The eligible applicants will receive the approvals for spot admissions by department/college/center by 4th December. The candidates who get selected will be required to make the payment of the fee by 5th December.
The University of Delhi received requests for spot allotment to the B.EL.Ed. course and for the BMS, BBA(FIA), and BA(H) Business Economics courses. However, as per the University notification, many applicants have provided false/wrong information. The committee set up by DU has looked at all the representations and has resolved most of the cases. The committee will further be considering the names of all the COVID-affected applicants whose results were received later by the University of Delhi.
Furthermore, the notification specified that if the name of the applicant does not appear in the admission list due to wrong information rendered by the applicant, the University will not consider such cases.
