Delhi University has released the list of vacant seats available at various colleges of Delhi University after the admissions against the five cutoff lists are over. As per the list, very few seats are left under the DU popular courses for the general category.

So far, Delhi University has released the list of vacant seats after the fifth cutoff only for merit-based courses offered in various University of Delhi colleges. For DU entrance based courses, the University will release the vacant seats soon.

Few Seats left in Delhi University under General Category 

The seat matrix depicted in the list released by DU shows a reasonable amount of seats left for both General and reserved category students, however, few Delhi University colleges are left with zero vacant seats under the general category.

Delhi University’s Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma college has only 24 seats remaining under the general category for some popular UG courses including BSc (Hons.) and B.Com (Hons). Whereas Bharati College has a total of 85 seats remaining in B.A. English (Hons). Bharati College of Delhi University has in fact seats remaining in almost all the courses and categories.

DU Announces Special Admission Drive To Fill Vacant Seats

Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College has over 51 seats remaining in B.Com (Hons.) Course under general category. Whereas, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College has 33 seats left in B.Com (Hons.) under the unreserved category. The College of Vocational Studies has only 10 seats left in B.A. (Hons.) Economics while the rest of the seats are occupied for general category students.

The University of Delhi has not yet received the vacant seat matrix for colleges like Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Kalindi College, and Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College.

Delhi University women colleges such as Lady Shri Ram College, Janki Devi Memorial College, Gargi College, Mata Sundri College for Women, Indraprastha College, and Miranda House have a few seats left for DU admission under special cutoff 2020 in all the categories, as most of the seat under general category are already occupied under DU first five cutoffs.

Three DU Colleges closes the admission for General Category

Dyal Singh Evening College, Deshbandhu College, and Hansraj College are the three colleges that have closed the admissions for the unreserved category.

The University of Delhi has postponed the spot admissions for DU UG entrance based courses and the release of DU special cutoff, as various DU officials have been tested positive with coronavirus infection. The New schedule for Delhi University special cutoff and spot admissions 2020 will be released soon on the official website of Delhi University.
