On the official website du.ac.in. Delhi University Recruitment 2021 has announced 267 Assistant Professor vacancies. The last date to apply for it is October 20, 2021.
The varsity has issued the vacancy applications in online mode. Therefore, eligible candidates can apply for an appointment for the post of Assistant Professor, in the Academic Pay Level 10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix.

Several departments of DU are open to apply. Additionally, multilingual departments such as East Asian Studies, Modern Indian Languages have also announced vacancies.
The total number of vacancies opened is 267 for the post of Assistant Professor. Out of which 96 for unreserved, 72 for OBC, 26 for EWS, and 10 for PwBD categories. Further, 42 and 21 for SC and ST respectively.

As mentioned above, candidates have to apply online in the prescribed format. No offline forms will be accepted. The application form is available on the DU official website. Accordingly, shortlisted candidates will be called for walk-in-interview via Email.

APPLICATION FEE
The application fee is Rs. 500 for UR, EWS, and OBC categories. However, there is no application fee for SC/ST and women candidates.
Further, the fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. The mode to pay the fee is also online. Most importantly, if a candidate is applying for more than one post. Accordingly, payments should be done separately.
