ITISHA DID A PSYCHOLOGY EXPERIMENT TO PROVE THAT THERE IS A FAULT IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM

She did a Psychology experiment a couple of years back. She divided the participants into two groups and selected 20 random images from google. She also added two imaginary statements under each photograph. Participants were told that they will be accessed on the basis of ‘People reading skills’. They were asked to select the right sentence for the image. She said to one group that they got 19 out of 20 right answers and the other group that they got 19 out of 20 wrong answers. Although both the statements were false. They were asked to rate the test. The first group thought that the test was excellent while the other group said that it was ineffective. She used this experiment to explain how CBSE is granting such good marks to satisfy students and parents.

MANY STUDENTS GOT 100 MARKS IN LANGUAGE SUBJECT

Her post read that any system can be good enough if it makes you feel good about yourself irrespective of reality. What if they are creating a generation of people with delusion ideas about their competencies and knowledge. Ignorance of masses is a bliss. Itisha said they have met a number of students who left 11 marks questions unanswered and still managed to get 95 percent. Parents are surprised by seeing their kid’s good scores. She said that the job of teachers depends upon the number of students with 100 marks. At first, the moderation was stricter. Nobody could get 100 marks in a language subject. But this year, students of CBSE Board got 100 marks in language subjects too.

NOBODY WOULD EVER QUESTION THE SYSTEM IF THEY GOT GOOD MARKS

She further added that this system is a new trend in college education too. Marks kept on changing with the change in the system. Nobody would question the system if they got good marks. Schools are also training students on the basis of tests and hampering student’s creativity. Students are forced to behave in a certain way to get their favorite college.
