Delhi University physical classes are going to resume tomorrow. However, it would be just practical and laboratory classes. Final year students would now have their physical and laboratory classes in the college itself. So, from tomorrow DU students can get back to the college with the resumption of Delhi University physical classes.
Students from different states and hometowns study at Delhi University. So, it might not be possible for each one of them to come and attend their practical or laboratory classes.
THEORY CLASSES IN VIRTUAL MODE
So, it is not compulsory for the students to attend offline practical or laboratory classes. On the other hand, teachers will conduct theory classes in virtual mode only. Attendance would be marked virtually for such classes.
For physical classes, DU will allow only 50 percent strength of students. Students of Delhi University who will attend offline laboratory or practical classes should get at least one dose of vaccination.
VACCINATION MANDATORY FOR DELHI UNIVERSITY PHYSICAL CLASSES
However, students who are returning to their hostels must get both the dose of vaccination. Teachers and other staff members must be fully vaccinated as well. Teachers said that only those experiments will be in operation that are necessary for the current semester.
DELHI UNIVERSITY PHYSICAL CLASSES FOR COLLEGES IN TWO SHIFTS
Many colleges runs two shifts, i.e. morning and evening shift. It will also regulate physical classes from tomorrow. So, they must frame a constructive timetable for the students.
Taking a better condition of cases into consideration, Delhi Government decided that it will reopen schools for classes 9 to 12 as well. So, students of classes 9 to 12 are also resuming their physical classes since 1st September.
