The University of Delhi observed various substantial changes during the coronavirus pandemic. From admission to education, the entire process was taken online. In such a situation, the burden on the Delhi University official website was also expanded. However, the University of Delhi has now prepared its new website. The new DU website will work in the lines of a single window. This means, all the information for DU students will now be available on the website itself.
From admission or migration to examination, all the facilities, notices and information will be published on the official website. Dr. Balram Pani, Dean of DU Colleges said that it is our attempt to provide all the related information on one website so that students would not have to wander on different sites. The new website will be very helpful to the students as students will be able to get all the information about any DU college easily on the new website. The website provides a separate link to DU colleges for the convenience of the students.
Till now, the students were required to check different websites for admission and examination related information. However, for the first time, this website will be used for all the academic work including admission, examination, migration, results, degree, etc.

Link to the official website of Delhi University for DU officials will also available on the new website. Furthermore, as soon as a student clicks on the contact number of Officials on the website, the number will be copied to the mobile keypad for dialing. So that the students can easily contact the respective officers. However, students will be required to login to access this feature. The director of the Department of Computer Science, Sanjeev Singh further said that the new website has been developed using open source technology.
Support Chat Option to be made available on Delhi University Website
Sanjeev Singh stated that the website has been created in-house. The new website has already been launched but the University is adding features to it one by one. Soon a chat box option will be added to the website for resolving the queries of the students and the visitors. Delhi University’s old website will still exist however, no new updates will be made on it.
COMMON EXAM FOR ADMISSION TO UG LEVEL FOR VARSITIES
Moreover, on clicking the icon for DU admission or examination, the old website will open as the information regarding the ongoing process of admission and examination is available on it. Slowly the Delhi University will replace the old website entirely. Furthermore, DU’s old website was accessible only in English however the new website can be viewed in English as well as in Hindi.
