Another statement was passed on by a senior university official that other hostels in university are also planning to hike the fees.”We have started from one hostel, to check the response. Soon all the hostels will increase the minimum rent” the official said.
“According to the news guidelines, we have to pay to minimum wage to the security in which students are also partially involved to generate money. Because the university is not granting fund so the hostel can’t bear to manage. So to meet the resources the students also need to contribute” said S.C.Rai, provost, DS Kothari hostel.
A new notification has been released says, the hostel has also restricted the entry timing for the girl students as compared to boys. According to the notification, the visiting hours for male residents is 8 A.M. to 8 P.
