Arts college of Delhi University

Delhi University has decided to postpone May-June semester exams. A notice has released by the Delhi University which informs that all the theory and practical examination is postponed till further information.

Like regular classes now the semester examination for regular colleges, SOL, and NCWEB are also postponed by the Delhi university due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus.

A notice regarding this information has been published by the official site of Delhi University, you can check the notice on the DU website du.ac.in.  According to this notice the Examinations(Theory and Practical) of the students of Regular Colleges, School of Open Learning, Non-Collegiate Women Education Board and Ex-Students are hereby postponed until further information. The new dates for the examination will be announced later by the University. Students are requested to be in contact with the official website of Delhi University for more information regarding the exams.

Even semester exams were scheduled to conduct on the May month. The Internal Assessments had begun when the colleges were shut due to COVID-19 outbreak. The study is shifted to online mode by the colleges. The assignments have been sent to the students online. Teachers with the help of online apps like Zoom, Google Classroom, WhatsApp, are helping the students at there best in this situation.

Relief to the students :

The academics are affected too much this year, starting from DUTA strikes, delay in result, North East Delhi violence and now this the pestilence that is COVID-19 the classes were in pause for many days. Students were too much worried about there semester exams and due to this lockdown, they were also confused about there exams preparation. Although University is providing online classes to the students ,but yet it’s not sufficient for good marks. This notice gives relief to the students, and also a clear cut idea to the students about there semester exams.

The notice published on the official website Delhi Univerity is in favor of the students. However, the exams are expected to be held in the month of June. As the virus is increasing day by day there are total 6,761 cases in India till now. However, the lockdown of 21 days are going to end on April 14 but experts believe that the lockdown should be extended by the government.
