Delhi University evolved India is an incredible institution and India is “very profoundly impacted” by its work. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri spoke out on Friday. Conversing at an event, Mr. Puri said the institution holds a great past and takes part in India’s growth.
He was the chief visitor at the university’s first alumni meeting. He acquired a Bachelor of Arts in History and MA in History from Hindu College, Delhi University.

So in multiple ways, Delhi University evolved privileged as a part of India’s growth. It formulated significance in terms of academic growth in terms of social action he said.

On the development of the university, the vice-chancellor said: “We commenced with three colleges, now the tally stands at 90. They had two faculties, now the digit of faculties is 16. In starting we had two departments and now it has 86 branches,” he said.

We commenced with 750 learners, and after 100 years we have 6,10,230 students in the university. We activated 1,380 books now in our library as we now have 80 lakh books and some digital too he added.
