The process for DU admission 2020 has started with the release of skyrocketing cutoffs and due to the coronavirus pandemic, the admission process has been taken online. As a result, Delhi University’s campus which is usually crowded by aspirants seeking admission and rushing to fulfill the formalities is now deserted as the admissions are taking place online. The Delhi University colleges when earlier used to be surrounded by welcome posters for DU aspirants are now advising students against visiting the campus.

At Ramjas College, a faculty member is making arrangements to address the aspirants arriving for DU admission 2020. The admission process for academic session 2020-21 has begun at Delhi University but the new normal triggered by the coronavirus pandemic has taken away the usual buzz.

A corridor at Delhi University colleges would have been confined with the determined aspirants seeking admission during the usual admission process. Manoj Khanna, Ramjas College Principal said earlier students would find it difficult to stand in college’s corridors on the first day of admission but things are different this year. The normal new is different for everyone but it’s the safest way to conduct DU admission 2020.

Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) helping DU aspirants at the help desk in North Campus on the first day of DU admission. Every year, DUSU students set up help desks across DU colleges to help students during admission. This year only a few people are present physically at the DU campus.

Faculty members dealing with the DU admission process online at Ramjas College Delhi University. Colleges have adopted different methods for processing admissions online. Ramjas College of Delhi University has set up 22 rooms for each department for the admission process. Every time a student applies to a course online, the college officials receive a notification. The authorities then take the printout of the application and then calculate the best four to verify the application.

A student seeking admission to Miranda House Delhi University was seen. The college has further set up a virtual control room to address the queries of students between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm through virtual conferencing mode. The Miranda House college also organized a virtual tour for the students seeking DU admission.
