IIT Kanpur lags behind Delhi University in QS Asia University Rankings. Delhi University has the 71st rank, while IIT Kanpur has got the 72nd rank. Last year, IIT Kanpur was sixth and Delhi University was seventh.
On the other hand, in the world rankings, the institute has fallen to 59th rank, down from the previous rank of 59. IIT Mumbai, which topped the country, has been ranked 37th in Asia. IIT Delhi is 47th and IIT Madras 50th. QuakeCorillary Symonds Global Higher Education releases the QS World Rankings every year.
It is the largest higher education network in the world. Educational activities, research work, national and international seminars, and ranking of institutions based on the student-teacher ratio are continued. IIT Kanpur keeps conducting research work, startup national, international seminars but is a bit backward in terms of teacher and student ratio.
There is less number of international teachers and students here. At the same time, IIT Mumbai has got first place in the QS India ranking while IIT Kanpur is in seventh place. Delhi University is at the sixth position. At the same time, MIT of the US is on top in the world. The National University of Singapore tops Asia in Asia. At number two is Singhua University, at number three is Nanyang Technological University Singapore, in fourth place in Hong Kong University, and in fifth place is Zhejiang University of China.
