Delhi University admission: After the cancellation of the CBSE Board exams 2021, the University of Delhi has now decided to start the admissions session. The Vice-chancellor of Delhi University, Mr, P.C. Joshi made it clear that the varsity will conduct the admission procedure as per merit.

Admission to the undergraduate level courses of Delhi University is always given based on marks obtained in class XII. This year also, keeping in view the corona epidemic, admissions will be given based on merit.

Admissions session May start from 15th July:

The Vice-Chancellor said that the admission process will be started by Delhi University from July 15. Equal weightage will be given to the students of all the boards (State and CBSE). He said that the admission process would be started as soon as the board results are declared. But unlike last year it (admission) will be delayed this year.

Decision on Common Entrance Test (CUCET) will be taken later:

The Vice-Chancellor informed that according to the new education policy, the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) in undergraduate-level courses can be implemented by the National Testing Agency (NTA). However, the decision on this will be taken after reviewing the situation of the Corona epidemic. will be taken. But in the future CUCET will be conducted.

DU OBE: GUIDELINES FOR FINAL YEAR STUDENTS

Delhi University Admission Criteria and Strategy are yet to be announced:

The information about any change in the criteria under the cut-off lists (like best four, stream change, board change depreciation/ increment) has not been conveyed yet. VC Joshi said that the varsity will formulate a way that is in the best interest of the students.

Further, University also grants admission based on extra-curricular and co-curricular activities including sports, art, music, dance, and many more. Reportedly, the University will continue to give admission on this front just like previous years.
