Delhi University Admission 2022: Delhi University admission process is underway for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. As per the officials, the procedure will end on 31 December for the academic session 2022-23.
Further, 63,900 seats have been filled out of 70,000 undergraduate seats at Delhi University. Three seat allocation rounds and two spot admission rounds took place for UG admissions. Now, another special spot admission round will be on 18 December.
DU Registrar Vikas Gupta stated, “The last date for all admissions in undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the University of Delhi for the current academic session is 31 December 2022, Saturday.”

The special spot round vacant seats list will release on 18 December. And candidates will be able to apply from 19 to 20 December. And the seat allocation list will declare on 22 December 2022.
Candidates who have registered for Delhi University admission 2022 on the CSAS portal and didn’t take admission in any spot round can participate in this special round. Moreover, the admitted students are not allowed to upgrade/ withdraw their admission. According to the official notice, it is mandatory to accept admission if the candidate seat is allowed in a special spot round.
Further, as per the university, “On the announcement of the special spot admission round, the admitted candidates are not allowed to withdraw/ upgrade their admission. The seat allotment is based on the availability of seats, seat matrix, category, and more. However, failure in acceptance of a seat will forfeit the eligibility of candidates to take admission in Delhi University.”
