Delhi University admission: There is important news for the students who are looking for admission in UG program at Delhi University. The process of admission to the UG courses can be started in mid-July.

DU has given clues regarding the admission process in UG only after the release of the CBSE 12th evaluation criteria. At the same time, in a media report in this regard, the acting Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University PC Joshi said that DU is likely to start the admission process from mid-July 2021.

He told that now the boards will start declaring the results by the end of July. Along with this, the Delhi University admission process for UG will be commenced in the middle of this month. And yesterday, they had a meeting in this regard.

DU ASPIRANTS OPPOSED CUCET AS DU ADMISSION PROCESS

The board exams of Class 12 were canceled earlier this month due to the second wave of the Coronavirus. At the same time, in the media report, the acting Vice-Chancellor of DU said while talking about CUCET that the Education Ministry has not decided on it yet.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued the 12th evaluation criteria in the Supreme Court. As per this, students of class 12th will give 30% to class 11th marks, 30% weightage to class 10 marks, and 40% weightage to marks attained in unit test/ mid-term/ pre-board examination in class 12th. On these ratios, the result will be formulated.

In the first week of April, after the second wave of coronavirus, firstly CBSE 10th examination was canceled. After this, the 12th examination was canceled this month. Since then, the boards of other states of the nation had also canceled the 12th exams.
