A Gurgaon based travel and tourism company has announced that it is soon going to commence the bus service from Delhi to London. The bus journey is being considered as the longest journey in the world. The news of 70 days long bus journey from Delhi to London has emerged as an astonishing announcement.
London and Delhi are certainly among the most bustling capitals in the world. The two cities are, however, easy to reach by the airways. But what if you can travel Delhi to London via roadways. This unbelievable yet mind-blogging announcement is certainly true.
A travel and tourism company became quite famous after the announcement of the longest and the supreme bus journey came into talks. The extreme Delhi to London journey is scheduled to commence in May 2021. The bus ride is said to cover 18 countries within 70 days which will cover the distance of around 20,000 km.
The countries which will come in the way of the road journey are China, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Myanmar, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, Poland, Lithuania, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Russia, and United Kingdom.
The travel and tourism country had also made the announcement public by posting an official announcement on their Instagram page.
The idea of starting the bus journey was introduced by the company after getting inspired by a similar journey that was covered between Kolkata and London in the year 1957. The journey was called Indiaman back in 1987. The journey began in April and reached India by June. At that time back in 1987, over 20 passengers were on board and the bus journey covered the way through various countries. The journey covered countries including Erstwhile Yugoslavia, Turkey, France, Bulgaria, Italy, Pakistan, and Iran.
The Bus to London company wants to rejuvenate the history by establishing a similar roadway journey. However, this time the bus journey will originate from our country. The bus journey is expected to cost over Rs 15 lakh per person.
Along the route, the bus to London claims to not just pass by the countries mentioned above but announces that the exploration of all the mentioned countries. The company’s official website speaks off that the bus route will explore the great wall of China and the cities like Samarkand and Tashkent to Brussels, and European cities of Frankfurt, etc. It claims to furnish a journey to remember. Also, the bus will be a hop on and hop off the bus. So the passengers will be able to onboard or deboard in any of the countries mentioned above.
