The Deputy Chief Minister informed, on Saturday, that all the examinations to be conducted by Delhi state University which some under the authority of Delhi Government has been canceled. This cancellation of examinations is inclusive of the final year students as well.
Deputy CM Sisodia further informed that this decision has been made eyeing the major disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Schools were closed when the lockdown was imposed. they had decided to evaluate students of class 9 and 11 on the basis of their internal assessment. Later class 10 and class 12 students were evaluated on a similar basis by the CBSE.

Delhi Government believes that it was not worthy to conduct examinations for those college students as their studies were completely disrupted in the entire semester. Hence, they have decided to cancel examinations post much contemplation on the issue, added deputy CM.

He further added that they believe in unprecedented solutions for unprecedented problems.

The Delhi Government has even urged all the other state universities to cancel the pending examinations and promote and grade students either as per their previous academic record or devise some other alternative with a progressive plan to grade the students.
