DELHI CM Arvind Kejriwal said that it is not decided yet when schools will reopen. The Government has not decided to reopen schools till December.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all the schools and educational institutions are shut down temporarily since March. Students are learning online for three months.
To carry forward the next academic year, the administration is providing online classes to students. Students are not safe to go to school until their area is safe from COVID-19 cases.

SCHOOLS WILL NOT REOPEN UNTIL STUDENTS ARE SAFE FROM COVID-19

Thinking about the safety of students and observing the present conditions of COVID-19, the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal states that schools will not reopen until students are safe from COVID-19.

THERE ARE MANY RUMORS ON SOCIAL MEDIA ABOUT REOPENING OF SCHOOLS

He said that on social media, there are many rumors that schools will reopen soon. But this is not true. Social media is surrounded by fake news that it will reopen in December 2020. The Ministry of Human Resource Development stated on twitter that the government has not decided yet not to reopen educational institutions until December.

MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND MINISTRY OF HUMAN AFFAIR WILL DISCUSS REOPENING OF SCHOOLS

The Union Education Minister in his earlier statements said that the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Home Affairs together will decide about the reopening of schools. Both the ministries will together discuss about it.

GOVERNMENT WILL RELEASE SOME GUIDELINES IN SCHOOLS

Moreover, the HRD Minister mentioned that when it will reopen, things will not be ‘normal’ as before. Everyone has to adapt to new normal changes amidst COVID-19 cases. Authority will release some guidelines and precautionary measures that are important to be carried out to protect everyone from COVID-19.

THEY WILL MODIFY SITTING ARRANGEMENTS AND TIMINGS

Everyone has to wear masks and have sanitizers with them. The government will change the sitting arrangement promoting social distancing. They will divide the classes into sections. Moreover, they will change the timings as well.
