DELHI: NON VACCINATED TEACHERS WON’T BE ALLOWED IN SCHOOL

The Directorate of Education (DoE) of the Delhi government issued an order for Delhi school. According to the order, Teachers and staffers will not be allowed to attend school if they haven’t taken a single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine till October 15.

As per the order issued by the directorate on October 28, administrators will confirm vaccination status through the Arogya Setu application or vaccination certificate shown by staffers and teachers.

It also announced that teachers who have not acquired their vaccine dose till October 15, will be treated as on leave by the authority of the first dose of vaccine.

Government-aided, Heads of government, and private-unaided well-known schools of the Directorate of Education (DoE) had been instructed to submit data by October 20 on vaccination of teachers and staffers.

DELHI SCHOOLS REOPENING FOR ALL CLASSES FROM MONDAY

Authorities were directed to provide the data of the directorate on a Google tracker link that gives it COVID vaccination status details of staffers and teachers.

According to an order issued last month, the DoE had told that the teachers and non-teaching staffers who are not vaccinated will not be authorized to attend Delhi school from October 15. Moreover, they will be assumed as being on leave.
