In its endeavor to enhance the travel experience for its commuters, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Sunday (October 17, 2021) confirmed that they have successfully launched free high-speed Wi-Fi service at its yellow line Metro stations.
The service, which overlaps with the beginning of the festival season, is initiated at as many as 37 metro stations that cover outer Delhi, Gurugram, central Delhi, north Delhi, and south Delhi.
The DMRC said in a press statement that more than 330 entry points have been introduced at these 37 metro stations to give internet facilities to the commuters. This Free Wi-Fi with high-speed Service will substantiate to be a special advantage to students visiting the North Delhi Campus of Delhi University.
Metro travelers will be able to use basic internet applications such as Facebook, e-mail, WhatsApp, Google Search, audio, and video calls, etc. They just have to login into network ID ‘OUI DMRC FREE Wi-Fi’.
How to use free W-Fi at Delhi Metro stations?
Step 1. On Wi-Fi opinion on your phone and Select ‘OUI DMRC FREE WIFI’.
Step 2. Enter your email ID and phone number to get OTP.

Step 3. Accept terms conditions, enter the OTP and tap connect.
However, on all stations of the Blue Line and Airport Express Line, this option of free ‘OUI DMRC High-Speed Wi-Fi’ is already available.
Moreover, now with this takeoff, the free Wi-Fi service is accessible at 94 stations of the Delhi Metro.
