ACADEMIC COLLABORATION

DU has postponed final year exams for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses, thrice, this time.

Currently, University of Delhi has announced to hold the last semester exams in the month of August. However,  the date sheet and proper information have not been shared by the authorities yet.

The exams were about to start on the 10th of July.  But, after UGC released its new guidelines,  DU declared to start exams from mid-August.

No data, information, notice, or statement has been issued in order to clear students’ doubts. Due to the unhealthy attitude of the authority, students are in a state of fix.

Parents and Students jointly put a petition in Delhi High Court.  The petition carries all the necessary interrogations, like the date sheet, mode, and procedure of the exams.

In response,  the High Court asked Delhi University to submit all the relevant information regarding the conduction of examination in August. The court will need these details in the next hearing, 14th July. This implies that DU has to prepare for the same till 13th July.

Delhi High Court has also asked DU not to drag the exams till 15th August. Meanwhile,  students and professors continue their protests against OBE on various social media platforms. They unitedly recommended the authority to evaluate students on the basis of prior exams and internal assessments.
