The Delhi HC has notified the University of Delhi to declare the results of all postgraduate courses by the end of this month (31st Oct). Moreover, Delhi HC has asked to upload the marksheets on its official website. So that students should not accumulate physically at the college.
The excessive courtroom additionally ascended many deadlines for the declaration of undergraduate results, from 20 Oct to 31 Oct from the screen of most of three days from the day mounted.
The varsity notified that results for BA program courses will come out on November 6.
A bench of Justice Hima Kohli and S. Prasad also asked DU to upload mark sheet on their website instead of physically handling them to follow social distancing.
Also, the mark sheet uploaded should not hold any footnote that’s its topic for bodily verification.
The bench stated that the uploaded marksheets will be legitimate for all purposes.
The two pleas by Prateek Sharma and the National Federation of Blind to form an efficient system to assist especially able students amid the pandemic.
However, the query of legislation was left open.
Earlier the Delhi High Court ordered Delhi University to release the results for Open Book Examinations of final years’ of session 2019-20 in the initial week of October.
