Imran Hussain is the Delhi Food and Civil Supplies Minister. He began a tree plantation drive at Jamia Hamdard University. So, the minister planted Amaltas saplings and said that Delhi Government launched this initiative. They are battling in a war against air pollution throughout the year.
On the other hand, Delhi Government has already taken several steps to curb air pollution. It comes up with a tree plantation policy, anti-dust pollute campaign. Moreover, it also started an electric vehicle policy, Red Light On, Gaadi Off. So, the minister took another initiative at Jamia Hamdard University. So, he said that Delhi Government is the first one who came up with a solution to stubble burning by using bio-decomposers.

The Rotary Club along with the staff members of Jamia Hamdard put collective efforts in this initiative. The leader of Delhi Government explained how important it is to maintain the saplings after plantation.

He asked the students and volunteers to do the same in the national capital as well. So, the main motive behind this initiative was to provide a green, healthy and pollution-free environment to the citizens of Delhi.
