CUET exam

More than 14 lakh candidates applied for the CUET exam 2023. The number of registration is 21 per cent more as compared to last year. Further, CUET-UG became the second biggest exam in terms of applicants.

Precisely, in CUET-UG, 12.5 lakh students registered themselves and 9.9 lakh of them submitted their applications. Also, NTA has announced the exam dates, and now CUET will conduct from 1 June for UG programs.

Moreover, the exams are being conducted in three shifts this time. Earlier, exams were about to be conducted from 21 May to 31 May but later the National Test Agency (NTA) rescheduled the decision by four days due to the higher number of applicants.

University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar advises students for their CUET exam. It said students should answer questions only when they are completely sure about the correct answer.

Furthermore, he said, “Read the questions carefully and answer the questions only when you are sure about it. Because there are negative markings which can affect the overall score. Also, keep calm and focus on your upcoming exam. And, if you can’t do the test as expected, remember there is always a tomorrow and many more opportunities to come.”
