Delhi University has not changed its admission system and replaced merit-based admission with CUCET. From the day the varsity took this decision, it has become a topic of major concern for everybody.

The varsity has now scrapped the old system of merit-based admission and put the Central Universities Common Entrance Test into action. For DU Admission 2022, the process is under formation and the officials are now discussing things related to it. From the next academic session, the varsity has allotted NTA to conduct CUCET and admit students based on it. Moreover, the varsity has made a panel of 8 members who would ensure the smooth conduct of the test.

WHO IS THE MAIN IN-CHARGE OF CUCET?

DU registrar Vikas Gupta is the head of the committee and Professor DS Rawat is the convenor. Moreover, many other professors are in charge of the admission. They will also be a part of the session.

The other members of the panel formed for CUCET are Professors Harneet Gandhi, Dean Sanjeev Gandhi Join Dean Ajay Jaiswal and OP Sharma, and many more.

NTA IS THE COORDINATION COMMITTEE OF CUCET

So, the coordination committee of the National Testing Agency will take care of CUCET. The National Testing Agency is the main body that holds CUCET for admissions not only in Delhi University but other central universities. On the other hand, after Delhi University took this decision, Jawaharlal Nehru University will also conduct CUCET instead of JNUEE now.
