CTET exam

CBSE has begun the CTET exam today. The board conducts this exam in various cities. The board will regulate the exams from 16th December to 13th January. CBSE conducts Paper 1 from 9 30 am to 12 noon and Paper 2 will take place from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Students have to follow all the COVID-19 norms and protocols while coming to appear for exams.

They have to stand in a queue maintaining social distancing. Moreover, the regulating body has kept the hand sanitizers at the entrance of the examination hall. Students have to sanitize their hands properly. They will not be able to enter the examination hall without masks. However, they must also carry a water bottle and sanitizer.

CTET EXAM PATTERN FOR PAPER 1

 

The CTET exam pattern is rather simpler for both the paper. Paper 1 includes 5 sections which are Language 1, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Child Development & Pedagogy, and Language 2. Every subject will have 30 questions of 30 marks and for every correct answer, students will get 1 mark.

CTET EXAM PATTERN FOR PAPER 2

Talking about Paper 2, it also includes five sections such as Social Studies pr Social Science, Language 1, Child Development & Pedagogy, Maths & Science and Language

CBSE conducts CTET exams to recruit teachers for different positions. Teachers get placed in schools that are under the Central Government, administration of Union Territories and Private Territories.

VALIDATION OF CTET EXAM

The Certificate of CTET is valid for a lifetime now. Earlier, the eligibility criteria were restricted to five to seven years only.
