Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has discharged the CTET Exam Date 2020. The 14th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which was first planned to be held on July 5, will now be held on Sunday that is January 31, 2021.

The CTET exam 2020 date has been declared openly by CBSE through an official notice on its official Twitter handle. The CTET new examination date notice clearly states that the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2020 exam will now be held in 135 cities in January 2021.

To ensure smooth conduct of examination amidst the COVID-19 epidemic, CBSE has added new exam cities this time. See the official information considering the declaration of the new exam date along with the list of new cities added to perform the exam.

The CTET July 2020 examination was first postponed by the CBSE due to an outbreak of the novel coronavirus. This decision was seized to assure the safety of aspirants and to avoid the spread of epidemics in India.

Now, after analyzing the whole situation, CBSE has declared the revised exam schedule for the CTET exam 2020.

Online Form Correction Window Opens From 7 November

CBSE received several requests from candidates to change the choice of examination center or city due to their stay during the COVID-19 lockdown. Given this, CBSE has decided to reopen the form correction window. Now candidates will be allowed to change their choice of exam city from 11:59 pm on November 7 – November 16, 2020.
