This year, DU is offering 71,624 seats across 79 undergraduate programmes. These are spread over 69 colleges. However, the university has allocated 93,166 seats in the first round itself. This is higher than the available number of seats.

As per official data, 1,325 seats have been allotted under the single girl child category. In addition, 259 seats are for orphans—127 for girls and 132 for boys.

Colleges will verify and approve applications by July 22. Students must complete their fee payment by July 23. This deadline is final for those listed in the first round.

However, allotments for a few performance-based programmes will not take place in this round. These include:

- Bachelor of Fine Arts
Allotments for these courses will happen in the third round. Students applying for these should check the trial and audition schedules. These are available on the respective college or department websites.
DU has also published minimum allocation scores and ranks for transparency. These are available on each candidate’s dashboard. The university will also publish them on its official admission website.
The second CSAS UG Allotment List 2025 will be released on July 28 at 5 PM. The university has advised all applicants to keep checking their dashboards and DU’s admission portal for updates.
