Shravan Goli, Chief Product Officer and head of consumer revenue of Coursera said, “ In India alone, over 37.5 million higher education students have been impacted by the lockdown. This initiative will allow all the students from 993 universities and over 50000 colleges and standalone institutions in India that are currently under the lockdown to continue learning and acquire relevant skills.”
This free online programme has already got 19000 enrolments from learners in India. And after 30 September, students will be able to access guided projects that will develop job-relevant skills.
