Reportedly, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has resorted to self- quarantine after he developed a sore throat and fever. Sources shared that he will get tested for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

Chief Minister, who is 51 years old, is also diabetic and he was feeling unwell since Sunday afternoon.

During an online media briefing, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that as the Chief Minister is unwell so he has gone into self-isolation. He has few symptoms like sore throat, fever, and cough.

He also informed that the Chief Minister will be tested fro COVID-19 tomorrow.
His mild fever was also reported earlier.

The Chief Minister held a cabinet meeting on Sunday morning at his official residence that was attended by many ministers, including Deputy CM Manish Sisodiya, Environment Minister Gopal Rai, and Health Minister Satyendar Jain. This also included Chief Secretary Vijay Dev.

Reportedly CM Kejriwal canceled all his official engagements after this.
It is known that the CM has also been holding most of his meetings through video conferencing from his official residence for the past two months but has been visiting the Delhi LG’s office for some important meetings.

The LG Office has reported 13 COVID-19 cases so far and it was reported that CM Kejriwal and Deputy CM Sisodia had attended a meeting at the LG office on June 2.

The National Capital Delhi has nearly 29000 positive reported cases of coronavirus and has become India third-largest after Maharashtra (85,975) and Tamil Nadu (30,152).
