CLAT 2023 UG Admission: The Consortium of National Law Universities or CNLU has opened the applications for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023. The CLAT exam is for 2023 admission to various undergraduate programs.

Further, the CLAT UG exam will have a total of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQ) from different subjects. It will include English Language, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques. CLAT UG 2023 every question will carry one mark. And, for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the student’s answer sheets.

Eligibility for CLAT exam 2023

To appear for the CLAT UG exam, the candidates need a minimum of 45 per cent marks or its equivalent in the 12th class. The criteria of marks are the same for General, Other Backward Caste (OBC), Person With Disability (PWD), Non-Resident Indian (NRI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) categories. But, the candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories need to secure 40 per cent marks or equivalent in the 12th class.

Furthermore, the CLAT UG exam 2023 duration will be 2 hours. The willing and eligible candidates can fill and complete the CLAT 2023 registration through the official website i.e., consortiumofnlus.ac.in. 

What is the last date to apply for the CLAT exam 2023?

The online application form for CLAT 2023 exam is 13 November. Besides, the CNLU will release the study material for the preparation of the CLAT UG test soon. It will contain question papers, sample questions, model question papers, instructional materials, and exercises for each of the topics that need to be prepared.
