LSAT 2022

The consortium of National Law Universities released a notice on its official website. The notification reads that the consortium will hold CAT 2022 on May 8 2022. Students who want to apply for the test can do it from 1st January.

However, they must first check if they eligible to apply for it. The notification includes all the important details like the eligibility criteria, timings, duration, schedule and much more.

WHY TO APPEAR FOR CLAT 2022?

CLAT 2022 will be held for 2 hours, i.e., from 3 pm to 5 pm. The consortium will schedule to examination in offline mode as of now. It will hold CLAT for two courses. Students who want to pursue the five-year integrated UG programme or 1-year LLM can apply for the entrance test.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CLAT 2022

Students who will appear for the exam for the undergraduate degree must have scored minimum 45 percent marks in their class 12th. However, for SC, ST category students the minimum percentage is 40. On the other hand, students who are going to appear for board exam in 2022 can also appear for the exam.

For admission into 1-year LLM course, students must have an LLB degree with at least 50 percent marks. For SC, ST category students, the minimum percent mark is 45. Students who will appear for their LLB final year exams can also appear for CLAT 2022.

WHAT IS THE APPLICATION FEE?

The consortium also charges an application fee to fill the application form. For the unreserved category the fee is Rs.4,000. However, for the SC, and ST categories it is Rs.3,500. For more information, refer to the notification at the official website.
