Today, the Consortium of National Law University began accepting applications for CLAT 2022. Students who are interested to apply for the entrance exam can do the same through the official website. So, they can go through consortiumofnlus.ac.in and apply for the same till March 31.

The exam will be conducted on 28th May. However, the consortium will hold the exam of CLAT 2022 to grant admission to the students into LLB and LLM courses. There are 22 National Law Universities. Such universities will consider CLAT 2022 scores for courses like BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com. LLB, BSW LLB and B.Sc. LLB. Moreover, the varsities will also consider the scores for LLM.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF CLAT 2022

There are around 2500 seats in LLB and 740 seats in LLM courses. So, students who have qualified their class 12th or will appear for their class 12th in 2022 can appear for the CLAT exam. For CLAT LLM, students must have done their graduation in LLB. They must have got 45 percent marks in their class 12th for LLB. For LLM, they must have for at least 50 percent marks in their graduation.

Candidates from General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI category must pay Rs.4,000 as an application fee. For SC, ST, BPL category, students must pay Rs.3,500.

So, to apply for the CLAT exam, follow the steps given below:

  • Refer to the official website of the consortium.
  • Register and enter your login credentials to complete the application process.
  • Fill in the relevant details and complete the payment process.
  • The application form is submitted now.
