CISCE

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has decreased the syllabus of major subjects for ISC and ICSE examinations 2022. Students can check the revised syllabus from the official website of the board – cisce.org.

According to the official website, for the ICSE (class 10), the syllabus has been amended for civics, and history, geography, physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, economics, computer applications, commercial studies, home science, economic applications, commercial applications, yoga, physical education, and environmental applications.

Whereas, for ISC (class 12) the syllabus has been reduced for political science, history, geography, psychology, sociology, economics, accounts, commerce, business studies, environmental science, computer science, and biotechnology.

On July 2, The board had declared the syllabus cut for English and other Indian languages subjects for both the classes.

Meanwhile, CBSE has also modified the examination pattern for the upcoming session of 2021-22. Instead of one board examination at the end of the year, the academic session has been bifurcated into 2 terms, with the Board conducting examinations at the end of each.

KNOW LATEST UPDATE REGARDING DU ADMISSION PROCESS

The Board in a notification published on Monday, also announced that the syllabus for the year will be rationalized. The syllabus will be rationalized on the lines of what was done in the previous academic year when the syllabus was decreased by 30%. The rationalized syllabus will be divide in half across the 2 terms.
