On February 2, the date sheets for CBSE classes 10 and 12 exams will be released. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Education Minister, shared this information. The exam schedule can be checked and downloaded by the students through the official website cbse.gov.in. The Board exams this year will be conducted from 4 May 2021 to 10 June 2021.

This virtual interaction program of the Education Minister with presidents and secretaries of CBSE Sahodaya Schools was attended by more than 1000 CBSE-affiliated school heads.

CBSE will be soon starting, based on these announcements, the orientation program to create awareness about the NEP 2020, through its 250 Sahodaya School complexes. In line with the NEP (National Education Policy) 2020, there will also be certain changes.

Following are few major changes announced by the Education Ministry, some of these might make it through the announcements.

Making board exams low stake was among one of the major changes. Improvement examination will be introduced by the CBSE from the year 2021 and also Sanskrit and English will be introduced in two levels from 2021-2022. With an increase of 10 percent every year, competency-based questions have also been introduced in class 10 and 12 board exams. These can be announced soon.

For the senior secondary level, a draft of learning outcomes has been released to invite suggestions whereas, for up to the secondary level, the learning outcomes have been notified already.
