According to the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education(SGBSE), for those students who do not have sufficient marks to clear the internal examination or have missed the internal examination would be grated minimum marks to pass in that respective subject and nobody would be failed during the assessment of the remaining subjects.
The board could not conduct exams due to the coronavirus pandemic:
Earlier, it was decided that the board will promote the students of all the classes except those of class 10th and 12th. But, as the conditions are not suitable to conduct examination for class 10th and 12th students and it is important to maintain and follow the rules of social distancing, the board has decided to promotes the students of class 10th and 12th also.
This is an official notice of only the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education. Likewise, the Maharashtra Board has also decided to promote class 10th and 12thestudyents. All the schools were closed on 19th March.
The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Mr. Bhupesh Baghel took a decision for all the classes except those of class 10th and 12th in this regard on 31st March 2020.
The decision of the CBSE board:
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said, ” General promotion would be given to the students studying in class 1 to class 9 and class 11 in the academic session of 2019-20.” At first, the board had decided to conduct the remaining exams for class 12th from 4 to 8 May and the remaining exams for class 10th students from 4 May to 5 May.
