On Tuesday, the Central Board of Secondary Education released the date sheet for the board examinations this year. The date sheets for class 10th and 12th are available on the official website at cbse.gov.in. The students are requested to go through the schedule from the official website.
Previously, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced a tentative schedule for conducting the board exams. The board exams will begin on May 4 and will end on June 7 for class 10th and on June 11 for class 12th.
The practical exams are scheduled from March 1 in the schools. Moreover, the results will be announced by 15th July 2021.
The Education Minister announced the release on his official Twitter handle. He added that the schedule is finalized after thorough deliberations and keeping in mind all considerations. The students will get an adequate gap for proper preparation of their board exams. It will eliminate the last-minute stress for preparations.
Various schools have already conducted the pre-board exams of the students via online or offline mode for sufficient preparation. All over the country, the schools were closed from March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. They were allowed to reopen in a phased manner from October 15th, 2020.
The education board said in a statement that the data sheets are released 3 months in advance so that the students can prepare accordingly. This will help them to make an efficient study plan and to overcome the issues raised in the pandemic.
The examinations will be conducted in 75 subjects for Class 10th and class 12th its 111 subjects. The class 12th board exams will take place in two shifts. CBSE said that the subjects which are not offered by the students situated in abroad schools will take place in the second shift.

2. Click on the new website.
3. Under the latest updates section the date sheet will be available.
4. The links ‘CBSE Class 10 date sheet’ and ‘CBSE Class 12 date sheet’ will be visible.
