Today, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) initiated the duplicate academic document system (DADS) to help candidates with duplicate copies of their academic documents either because they have lost or are disfigure.

As of now, these students reach their respective regional offices or apply on a prescribed form and residue required fees in the banks or alternately transmit forms and bank drafts by post. But, the coronavirus situation has made it complicated to follow this process.

CBSE has come up with a short and feasible solution through a newly developed in-house portal. The duplicate academic document system is aimed at obviating the human contact and physical existence of the candidates required so far and cut short the travel, time, and energy spent by students and parents who can now collect duplicate passing certificates, mark sheets, migration certificates through this online portal.
