The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for uploading practical/internal assessment marks for the class XII examination till June 28. Schools whose practical/internal assessment is pending are allowed to operate in online mode only. News agency ANI has given this news through a tweet.

Moreover, CBSE has already constituted a 13 member committee to prepare the result criteria. The committee has to submit its report in 10 days. Earlier, the CBSE board secretary had said that the evaluation criteria for class XII results would be declared within two weeks. On June 1, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had canceled the CBSE Board’s Class XII examination keeping in mind the interest of the students.

In the statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, it has already been said that the students will get one more chance. Candidates who are not happy with the marks obtained from the objective criteria will be given the chance. As they can appear in the exam after the coronavirus situation normalizes. That is, if a student is not satisfied with the marks obtained by CBSE based on evaluation criteria, then he can appear for the board examination.

If students feel that they have got low marks based on evaluation criteria, then they can re-appear for class XII examinations. But these exams will be administered only after the situation arising due to Corona becomes normal.

As of now, it has not been notified by the board that when the 12th exams will be performed for the students who are not satisfied with the evaluation criteria. Anurag Tripathi, Board Secretary mentioned that students who are not happy with the evaluation criteria can sit in the examinations. He said that these examinations will be conducted only after the normalization of the COVID-19 epidemic.
