The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X and XII examinations will be held on time. Tenth and twelfth-grade exams will not be postponed due to the increased infection of the coronavirus. CBSE has confirmed that the board examinations will start from May 4, as per the scheduled schedule. This year, the number of exam centers for examinations has also been increased by 50 percent. Earlier, about one lakh students had signed a petition to postpone or online the Class 10 and Class XII board exams of the CBSE board. In which parents, as well as students, had expressed concern over the growing corona infection and demanded to take the examinations further.

CBSE Board’s tenth-twelfth examinations to be held from May 4 to June 11The CBSE board’s tenth and twelfth-grade examinations will start from May 4 and end on June 11. While practical examinations have started in schools. CBSE says that the number of examination centers has been increased by more than 2500 for the tenth and twelfth-grade examinations. Board examinations of class X and XII will be conducted following the guidelines issued for social distancing and coronavirus. The Board of Examination Controllers says that this year, about 7,500 examination centers will have class X and XII examinations.

The board’s exam controller says that the number of centers has increased by 50 percent due to the social distancing protocol. Board exams will be as per schedule. He says that the Kovid-19 guidelines issued by the government will be followed during the examinations. The CBSE board will make students and students aware of the examinations. Significantly, the students and parents had requested the Central Government to postpone the Board’s tenth and twelfth-grade examinations and extend their date. More than one lakh students signed petitions and requested the government to cancel the board exams to be held in May or to make them online. Students were opposing the CBSE board examination through the #CancelBoardExam.
