The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has developed online learning along with the Lend-a-Hand organization. This program will promote multi-skill foundation courses and provide training to teachers. CBSE has developed an assessment module on the basics of the ‘Multi Skill Foundation Course’ for the teachers.

The course will be accessible from 29 June to 8 July. Registration is necessary for attending this program.

The CBSE said this course has been formulated to build and make learning multi-sensory, reflective joyful, and multidisciplinary.

The Multi-Skill Foundation Course has 3 modules:

Module 1 is on technology – Engineering techniques and workshop and environment and energy.

Module 2 is on life sciences – nursery, gardening, and food processing techniques, and agriculture techniques.

Module 3 is on vocational pedagogy and employability skills.

As per the official information, a minimum of 50 % marks is needed for passing in all three modules.

The CBSE said for every module, an online orientation will be conducted for the teachers to provide them a summary of the content and how to use these program links. After the orientation session, 48 hours will be provided for completion of the respective module, and after that, the assessment will be administered on that module.

It added that without registration, the participants will not get entry to the training links, orientation sessions, or assessments. Registration link will remain accessible till June 27.
