In order to provide online certificate programs to students, (Central Board of Secondary Education ) CBSE and Facebook, social media giant have banded together.

The CBSE brochure said that they have taken this step to advance their commitment towards digital inclusion and digital empowerment. CBSE and Facebook have joined forces to dispatch educational plans and related preparing in Online well-being, Digital safety and Augmented Reality, and present Instagram Toolbox for Teens.

Facebook is leading this partnership for education. Facebook has the initiative to build diverse learning communities.

For augmented reality, there will be an online program with Facebook, and a workshop on the usage time of the photo-sharing platform will be with Instagram. Both teachers and students can stay safe on these platforms.

Students and teachers can register themselves on the official Facebook page of CBSE for these programs.

Facebook is attempting to increase a solid decent footing in the Indian market across areas. The organization had marked an arrangement to purchase 9.9 percent in Reliance Jio which is the telecom unit of Reliance Industries.

The training partner Centre for Social Research (CSR) leads the digital well-being workshop and will guide students to learn about their digital identity and become responsible digital users.

The program brochure explained that they will explore the conditions of how to identify and respond to threats and harassment, how to communicate responsibly online, and the tools with which they can empower themselves to stay safe and secure online.

“EXPERIMENTAL TRAINING” TO BE GIVEN TO CBSE TEACHERS VIA DIKSHA PLATFORM

As per the availability of slots in each session, students will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis for the digital well-being workshop. Interested students can sign up individually and these sessions can include up to 300 participants.

The School of Innovation offers the Augmented reality course from Facebook. This course helps them to concentrate on upskilling participants on the groundbreaking technology of the future.

The content in the course introduces the basics of Augmented Reality and captures ways to utilize Spark AR Studio, Facebook’s software, to create augmented reality experiences.

The goal of the program is to give members a chance and stage to figure out how to conceptualize, make, and brand their own AR encounters.

In this course, students will understand the use of Spark AR Studio and publish experiences on Facebook thereby becoming a part of the Spark AR ecosystem.

If students wish to take part in this program they just need a computer/ laptop with Windows 10 and a good internet connection. Moreover, the course will be held in two batches.

CBSE and Facebook will give an online certificate of fruition to members who effectively complete the AR program by the School of Innovation from Facebook. The applications will open on July 6 and end on July 20. The first group will begin on August 10 and close on September 7.
