CBSE 12th board exam: The hearing on the petition seeking cancellation of the Class XII Board examination has been deferred to the Supreme Court on Friday. That is, now the decision of whether the 12th board exams will be canceled will come on 31 May 2021.
The Supreme Court has notified the petitioner that on 1 June 2021, a final decision will be taken by the government on the Class XII board exams. The decision of the government may be in students’ favor.
The Supreme court postponed the hearing due to this reason:
A bench of Justices Dinesh Maheshwari and Justice AM Khanwilkar asked the petitioner Mamta Sharma during the hearing whether she had given a copy of the petition to the ICSE and CBSE lawyers before the hearing. Mamta Sharma told in response that she will deliver an advance copy to the lawyers today. The bench answered that the petitioner had to send the copy to the lawyers of ICSE and CBSE before the hearing. Therefore, the hearing is being postponed. Now the hearing will be conducted on Saturday.

At the same time, it is not feasible to get millions of students tested safely in the corona epidemic. Therefore the examinations should be canceled.
