Class 10 and 12 Exam 2020: Cbse Class 10 Exams Not To Be Held, Class 12th Exam Made Optional
On Thursday, June 25, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will instruct the Supreme Court about its choice on the wiping out of the pending board examination for class 10 and 12. The CBSE had on Tuesday educated the court that the dynamic procedure on whether to lead class 10 and 12 Board tests from July 1-15 is in a propelled stage, after which the court conceded the meeting to Thursday at 2 pm.
SC had a week ago asked CBSE to consider rejecting the class 10 and 12 board tests taking into account the developing instances of coronavirus diseases in the nation.
CBSE will not perform the class 10th examination while the students of Class 12th will be provided an option of appearing in exams after circumstances are conducive, the Solicitor General told the Supreme Court on Thursday. The Class XII students will get the choice to appear in exams or accept assessments based on the past three exams. The examination results will be out by July 15, the Solicitor General told the court.
The court made this recommendation because of a request from a gathering of guardians, who have requested undoing of the rest of the board tests referring to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In their request, the guardians said that directing examinations across more than 15,000 focuses at this stage would pointlessly open youngsters to the danger of contracting Covid-19.
