Delhi University is the university where all students want to get admission and students are always confused about college, cutoff, etc. students with fewer marks who want to take admission in DU always doubt in there mind that Can I get admission in du.

They should not worry now.

The answer to their simple question ‘Can I get admission in du ?’ is “yes”! But in a few courses and colleges.

Here are the eligibility criteria as well as courses with minimum marks and colleges where they can get admission:-

B.Sc. Life Science/Applied Life Science(s)

For B. Sc. In Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biology, and Biotechnology 45%. Or more marks in a total of 3 subjects such as in Botany, Zoology, Microbiology Anthropology, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-Technology, and ratifying in one compulsory language (i.e. English).

The across-the-board percentage in 3 should be 45%. One compulsory language should be 40%. The selection will be made based on marks a total of 3 Science subjects as mentioned above.
For B.Sc.(Hons.) in Food Technology 55% or more marks in the quantity of 4 subjects and approving in one compulsory language (i.e. English).

The Selection will be made based on marks in the total of 4 Sciences subjects.

Mathematical Sciences

For the Honours course in Computer Science and Mathematics, students must have one language and two other subjects as academic subjects. They should have to comprise

a) 60% or more marks in Mathematics

b) 55% or more marks in the sum of four subjects including Mathematics, one language, and two other subjects listed as academic subjects by the respective Boards.

Selection will be made based on the best four academic subjects. One Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry / Computer Science / Informatics Practices should be there.

Art and Commerce

The Minimum Percentage for B.A (Vocational) and B.Com courses should be a total of 40% marks in the qualifying examination. The merit shall be specified based on one language and three best elective subjects.
The minimum percentage for BA (Hons) and B.Com (Hons) should be a total of 45% marks in the qualifying examination. The merit shall be specified based on one language and three best elective subjects.

For B.A. (Hons.) Arabic, Hindi, Persian, Punjabi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Bengali a sum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination is expected. Candidates securing 40% marks in the total and 50% marks in the subject concerned are also eligible for admission to the relevant Honours Course.
For BA (Hons) in French, German, Italian and Spanish 45% in the total, in the qualifying examination. The merit shall be assumed based on one language and three best elective subjects.
